Brian and I live in the suburbs of Denver. I am the creative and day to day partner and Brian it the technical expert. Together they created Desert Rose Gifts/Wild Rose Creations, fulfilling both or our passions.  
    I was raised in the Denver area.  My father was a high school teacher of industrial arts and my mother was a  teachers aid.  I have been creating stuff as long as I can remember.  My first memories are of taking the clothes off of my dolls; taking the scraps that were left over from the doll clothes that my grandmother had made for them and making my own creations.  
    I studied Art at Phoenix Collage and Arizona State where my love of art was expanded.  I found that I loved all creative areas and opened a Hobby Store in Phoenix.
    Brian and I met after I moved back to the Denver area.  He was raised in Chicago but has lived in Denver longer that I had.  He loves this area almost as much as he does all things that have to do with a computer.  He said to me you should put your stuff up on Ebay”.  I said “I don’t think so”.
    We took a trip to Phoenix where he was teaching and I spent the day surfing Ebay.  We came home and I said “OK how do we do this?”  That was in December 2000.  It is now my full time occupation and I am sure some days Brian is sure that it is his.  
    I have two wonderful sons and two fantastic grandsons.  BUT I love to sew doll clothes.  I put away my ceramics and paintings and when I am not taking care of Ebay business I am sewing in my design studio creating clothes for American Girl Dolls, Magic Attic, Bitty Baby and various home décor items.
